This is a guide to mainly explain ranks, paygrades, and joining branches.
PART 1 - PAYGRADES and RANKS =========================== **A paygrade is the identification of the soldier by Enlisted or Officer, and what level of each. In real life, it determines a soldiers salary. (Ex. E-2 is Enlisted Level 2, O-4 is Officer Level 4) **A rank is the word form of a paygrade. It is..well..a rank. (Ex. Corporal, Private, Sergeant, etc.) **You call an officer "Sir".

PART 2 - JOINING A BRANCH (For BMT's) ================================ To join a branch. look under USM's Allies tab and click on the branch you want to join. Your choices are: Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard. Send a request to join the branch of your choice. After that, send a request to join a division of that branch. You can find those divisions under the Allies tab of your branch. On your division's page, you can find the Uniforms and formals under the Store tab.
