| Hint's are deprecated now, so they don't show up in the object browser. Although I believe you can still create them with an instance.new command. |

Hints were never in basic objects, unless I am blind.
You can only instance them.

I tried that, but I guess I don't know the command or something.
h = instance.New "Hint" h.Parent = Workspace
That wasn't working for me. |

Sorry, got cut off, you would put this in command bar.
local h = Instance.new("Hint") h.Name = "Hint" h.Parent = game.Workspace |

| Oh, my problem was that it has to be local I guess. Thanks. |

Don't complicate yourself s
local h=Instance.new("Hint",workspace)
I also confirmed that it doesn't have to be local to work, simply
Instance.new("Hint",workspace)
will work.
Local is just a scope to separate strings inside functions.

what you did wrong was the caps, and you forgot () surrounding hint. every thing else was fine.
h = instance.New "Hint" h.Parent = Workspace
That wasn't working for me.
Instance. and new, not instance and New
also why are you trying to make a name for that function? so you can help to localize it?
to localize any instance you simply put a , after the " in whatever you want to spawn to direct it,
Instance.new("Hint", workspace) |
