This is just a thought, maybe you guys disagree. I was thinking, we have outlines on bricks now, for every part, correct? Well, what if grouping parts into a model treats the parts in the model as one part- Meaning, the outlines are visible on the edges of the model as a whole, not individual parts. This way, anything CFramed won't be ruined by the outlines, but will still have these primitive outlines.
As I thought this through, a problem came to my mind- Models are square in shape, no matter how the parts are arranged, which means edges where no parts are visible, corners of a rotated part, would have outlines over nothing. I honestly have no idea how to fix this, I'm no programmer, but if there was a way to have the edges of the parts as a model with outlines, I'd say go for it. This way, everyone is, to a certain extent, satisfied. The moderators get their outline aesthetic look while CFramers can still keep their beautifully designed places.
Any suggestions are welcome. Obviously the Mods won't remove these outlines entirely, so if your going to post something like that you might as well not bother to post.
---------------- tl;dr version: Grouped parts have outlines as one single part so cframing doesnt look bad and we still get an aesthetic look. |

Here, I'll make a diagram of what I mean by all this. That should help explain it better. |

No problem. I think this is a great idea, but again, I'm not sure if it's possible.

Ok, I made a basic diagram of what I mean. Moderators, I am using imgur to give a demonstration, please don't ban me for this.

Now, on the left is my proposal: The green represents the Outline Aesthetics that ROBLOX has provided. It's around the model parts as a whole, instead of individual. The parts (4 of them) are outlined by blue, to demonstrate that more than one part is in place. On the right is what ROBLOX currently has, with all parts including the outline aesthetics (green lines). The red border around each image is the model border to show that even if the parts aren't positioned in a perfect square like the model would be, yet the outline aesthetics still work only on the parts as a whole, not showing any outline around the model itself. Only if that is possible of course, otherwise I have no idea how to fix that. I'll keep thinking, though. |

@Sassle ROBLOX has always wanted a more aesthetic/blocky view, so they've added grey outlines to every brick. If you CFrame, it looks pretty bad as you can see the outlines clearly and the CFraming can't cover it up. In other cases it looks pretty good, and makes ROBLOX look more blocky. It just kills realism for players seeking that realistic kind of aspect in gaming. |

This still causes problems for larger cframed things that can't be grouped.
