at this place(viewable from thumbnail): http://www.roblox.com/Land-of-Citrexia-place?id=122309189
No brick above it, if I rotate it just a tiny bit in any direction, it goes away. Anyone have any clue how to fix it?

| weird, well it could possibly be the sun hitting another brick at a weird angle but "rotate it just a tiny bit in any direction, it goes away" suggests otherwise. dunno what to think maybe save the place and send a report to info@roblox |

That must be only the thumbnail. I don't see anything ingame. Yes my graphic settings are on 10.

I cant seem to join the game to see what you mean. Stupid updates. This is only a guess. The lighting is a voxel that is 4studx4studx4stud. If your model is on this grid then you shouldn't see this lighting effect. But if the model is not on the 4x4x4stud grid then a part of the light voxel is visible.
Sorry I'm only guessing. |

holy mother of
So I made a new brick at the same angle and everything, and then I made it really long and it gets to be pitch black at the the end, it updated in the thumbnail.
I really need to figure this out I want to continue on my place :/

I get the dark and shadowy parts too. Try it with Global Shadows checked off. Try it with AmbientLighting set to a brighter value. Try it with AmbientOutdoorLighting set to a brighter value.
It almost acts like Fog but based on a central position, not the players camera position. The end of the long dark 'plank' in the thumbnail is completely black for me when I'm on it, but the rest of the game seems bright. The central covered area is fairly dark when I'm in it. |

I sent an email to info@roblox.com 55 hours ago, and received a support ticket saying I would receive a reply in the next 48 hours. Still no reply.

Not sure if this applies, but try to make the thickness of the part affected to 5 studs thick.
As somebody (I think Scott) said above, Lighting voxels are on a 4x4x4 grid, so anything thinner than 4 studs can sometimes act weird.
An example of this is the light coming though a seam of two parts only one stud thick, even when there isn't a gap.
I don't even know if it'll work, but it's worth a shot. |
