I'm thinking about getting the Akai MPK mini. But tell me if there is any others I could invest in. My money limit is $200 |

op do you even know what electronic music is made with, because just a midi controller and a sampler isn't going to get you very far |

| I was exaggerating dude. But the majority of electronic music is made with those things... drum machines, computers, ect are also involved. |

Uh, ya they can be involved, but you definitely don't need them.
I produce edm without a midi controller (unless you want to count my novation launchpad but I mean like a standard keyboard midi controller) and I own Kontakt but don't use it most of the time.
I also don't own a drum machine.
What DAW are you using? |

ill just say that a 25-key might seem like a good idea because its cheaper but you should definitely go for something bigger
