This update completely broke most script builders. Most scripts are over 1000 lines let alone 1000 characters.
Script builders allow for a much better user experience when scripting - it's not just editing, copying and pasting your script alone in a place.
How are you even supposed to test scripts that involve multiple people if you can't go past the 50th line?
It is impractical to paste your >1000 line scripts 50 lines at a time, especially when it might simply be a small one character error that breaks it and makes you have to paste 20 more times.
If character count being especially long is a problem in most places, then it would be nice if there were a setting or default map type that incorporates script building.
By significantly, it would have to be at least a thousand fold (i.e. 1048576 instead of 1024), as there are many scripters who have scripts in excess of 100k characters. (I believe the previous limit was something like 260k?) |

| Although, most exploits previously had scripting inserted via chat, so this also reduces exploits... Not sure where to stand on this one. |

Exploits exist because scripts exist and insecurities exist. Unless roblox removes all scripts, exploits will exist. Even if they do, there are still hackers that are capable of exploiting the game. It doesn't matter if the script is chatted or not, it does the same things. Script builders just take chat, put it into a script and run it. |
