I've been gone for a very long time, but I decided to pick up an old project. When I play my old game I receive this ouput as I select the hopperbin that runs the entire game.
11:14:45.125 - Disconnected event because of exception 11:14:49.175 - ToolTip is not a valid member of HopperBin 11:14:49.176 - Script "CoreGui.RobloxGui.CurrentLoadout.CoreScripts/BackpackScript", Line 585 11:14:49.177 - stack end 11:14:49.177 - Disconnected event because of exception 11:14:50.184 - ToolTip is not a valid member of HopperBin 11:14:50.185 - Script "CoreGui.RobloxGui.CurrentLoadout.CoreScripts/BackpackScript", Line 591 11:14:50.186 - stack end 11:14:50.187 - Disconnected event because of exception
I'm not sure how much I am asking for because I don't know the scale of my problem, so please correct me if it's too much and help me if it's possible. Thanks in advance. |

| On line 585 you are trying to access something called 'ToolTip', which does not exist in the HopperBin. |

| It's not a worry, it's because ROBLOX dislikes their own creation |

| It's a corescript glitching out because they aren't expecting you to use hopperbins, because they are "depreciated," meaning Roblox pretends that they no longer exist. It's nothing your code is doing; it is merely a corescript expecting a Tool and receiving a hopperbin. One method to fix this is to use :GetMouse() instead of a hopperbin, but that's up to you. :GetMouse() is somewhat more limited than a hopperbin, chiefly being unable to change the Mouse.Icon. |

| Thanks. Where and how would I use :GetMouse()? As an event in the first function? |

Sorry, I was on BF:PR. Here's what you want to know:
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/RBX.lua.PlayerMouse_(Object)
What I do, if I want to replace a hopperbin with :GetMouse(), is use a LocalScript, which I put in the PlayerGui, and go from there. Like I stated earlier, you can do virtually everything that you can do with a hopperbin with :GetMose(). I have had some issues with removing objects via :GetMouse(), by checking the part that the Mouse was hovering over and then removing it, but eh. |

| Wait, are you telling me I can replace the entire hopperbin (which means I don't need it?) need it with :GetMouse()? I was looking at this the completely wrong way. |

Um.. Yes? Mainly, for most instances, you can use :GetMouse() and completely get rid of the hopperbin, yes. But, it is somewhat more limited, unfortunately. But for most cases, you can use it to replace the hopperbin.

| *Although if you don't want to, you don't have to. Those errors look scary but as far as I can tell they don't cause anything to not work at all. |

^ Exactly. I don't understand why everyone thinks when something becomes "depreciated" it becomes unusable. |
