[1] - Introduction to Lotus v2 -\\
My Marshal (BlackHawk100) and myself (shinypikachu1234) have both come to mutual agreement that there are multiple and grievous faults within the two promotion systems currently battling on the poll. For starters, the Lotus system is extremely confusing, over complicated, and intimidating to some of our newer members. The new promotion system (or rather the old one), people can achieve promotions far too quickly, and ranked up because they did well in a single event (maybe they just got lucky?). The new system also bloats the chance of bias in our promotions (for example, the best friend of a high rank getting promoted unfairly). So we thought about it, and we came up with a new idea - why not merge the best ideas of both promotion systems, and combine it into what we have named Lotus v2.
[2] - What is Lotus v2? -\\
Lotus v2, in the simplest of terms, includes some of the brightest ideas from both promotion systems, and combining them into one promotion system. It will ensure that promotions aren’t impossible to earn, yet not so easy that you can advance at an overly quick rate. We hope that it will also minimize the impact of bias on our promotions. An important part of this idea would take the two most common types of prestige (strength and knowledge) and group them into one type of prestige; this new type would be called, quite basically, prestige. You would earn this new prestige the same way you would have earned strength prestige and knowledge prestige, and there will be innovative new ways to earn this single type of prestige too! The new prestige can be earned by doing numerous and varied things that you can do in Lotus v2. The following are just some of the most rudimentary ways that you may earn it.

With all of these ways of gaining the new prestige, this system ensures that it is easier to gain prestige if you are not a combat expert or knowledgeable about the history of the Roblox Assault Team. It also makes ranks more valuable in the fact that you don’t acquire an entirely new rank from just training, raiding, or defending well once. Another type of prestige that the elder Lotus system had (many Coordinators or above are familiar) is leadership prestige, also known by the abbreviation Lp. With Lotus v2, leadership prestige will be completely scrapped. Once rank deletion is implemented on Roblox, most of the former “Milestone Ranks” will be eliminated from the Roblox Assault Team rank spectrum. With that said, there will be three “Middle/Milestone” ranks.

Once a member of the Roblox Assault Team reaches the rank of “Supervisor” they are able to host weekly unofficial training sessions or raids (via the group wall, not the group shout) to try to stand and out to an Admiral. If an Admiral comes to their training session, it is therefore made ‘official,’ and prestige can be given. After your official training session is completed, the Admiral that supervised (this Admiral must supervise at least two events) will give you a report on how well you led your training session. The report can be of three kinds - great, neutral, or terrible. The reasons for the report type and report as a whole document is for the Supervisor in question to learn how they can improve, instead of just patting him/her on the back saying “two Lp - good training.” The more positive reports you have, the greater the chance you’d be chosen to become a Marshal-in-training. This is the role the Infocenter III will play in all of this - it will be used to log reports as well as the new prestige.
There are many unlisted ways in which Supervisors can try to stand out to an Admiral. The possibilities are endless.
Once they see that you are ready, as well as a successful number of reports that make you deem worthy to the Admiral, you will then be promoted to “Justicar.” At this rank, the Admiral will train you on the ins and outs of the job that they face in their department. Once they are fully trained to work as a sub-department member, they will be promoted to Marshal, with permission of the department head.
If an Admiral already has 2 Marshals, he/she can choose to try to replace one of them if they aren’t doing a sub-par job. In doing so, if he/she can find a better candidate, one of their Marshals can, and will be replaced. If the Marshal is chosen to be replaced, he/she will be demoted to “Vindicator.” At this rank, Admirals can choose to auto-promote them to their Marshal, as they would have already gotten enough good reports to become a Marshal once more. However, if they don’t have ANY good reports, and any reports at all (post reform), then they will be demoted to Supervisor, not Vindicator.
Once the Great Admiral finds an Admiral’s Marshal to be a worthy choice to work in said department, he/she can choose, with the Grand Admiral’s approval, to promote the Marshal to an Admiral position and to work within his/her department.
[4] - What makes this system better than previous systems? -\\
This system implements the best of both of our previous systems whilst being easy to understand for new members of The Roblox Assault Team.
The previous Lotus System was extremely confusing and complex for newer members of the clan to understand due to the large range of prestige types. With many of these prestige types being moved into one and Leadership prestige being disbanded, we have now made a system which can easily be followed by all members, no matter their rank. Adding onto this, Lotus v2 is still giving members of the clan the ability to be promoted via their great efforts and it is sticking to a system which a number of members have grown to understand since the start of CJ’s Era.
Along with this, the hard efforts which members have put in during the last 8-9 months will not be lost. By default, their Users in the Infocenter III shall begin with the minimum number of prestige for their current rank within the clan. Doing this ensures members do not lose all of their efforts and do not have to re-earn prestige. Moreover, members will not get an entire promotion for completing one simple task, instead they will be required to put in effort in order to gain their promotions and prestige.

With this new promotion guide, there could be a lot of new possibilities for the future of RAT. Once this system does, we as the hi-com will have power to enforce some of these ideas.

| I WANT LOTUS/LOTUS 2.0 not the new system, it is soooooooooooo basic and I think instead of going to a whole new system the Councilium should just reform or use Lotus v.2 and TEACH the low ranks at he mansion maybe about the promotion system. |
