Simply an idea, but I was wondering if such a thing might be possible. Considering that everyone has their opinions, I figured that using this equation perhaps we could find common ground could be found between one another. I wouldn't say it is a bad idea or impractical either.
The only issue is what variables to include and what operations to use. Suggestions?

What about R = (W-L)^2
Where R = Rating, W = Wars won, and L = Wars lost.

Sure, let's agree on the first part. If we want a realistic rating, then we have to leave opinions aside. We also have to ensure that the variables are relevant to the clans quality.

This is what it should be
R=[(M/2)+W]*A+L
M= Members
A= an average ranking by C&Gers on how they like the clan on a scale of 1-10
add losses because admitting defeat only adds to the clans integrity |

R = K - W
Ko's - Wo's, it would take a while though. |

A should be replaced by something else. The goal is to remove all bias. What if A = weekly visits to the main base. However, instead we divide by A. So the equation looks like : R = [(M/2)+W]/A-L

I'm still skeptical about L and W though. I don't know how we could implement that, if it is possible.

| That looks ok. If only we had other, better, variables. |

activity, promotion rates, member inflation-deflation rates (members being lost/
A= Activity, P= Promotions, M= Member count, X= clan's rate.
M / A x P / 0.8 = X
So suppose activity is 200 (based on the most popular place's visits), promotions per day are 10, member count = 400
0.8 is derrived from 80,000, the rough estimate for the average size of a superclan.
400 / 200 x 10 / 0.8 = 25
