It seems like such a weird concept to me. You just ask them and they buy you a game..? Even if it's just occasion, I can't picture it.
I'm so used to saving my own money or using a GPT. /_o.o_\ |

| I generally use money I've earned from doing various jobs to pay for the games, however, I give the money to my mum and pay for them via her debit card. |

| When i was younger my parents bought games for me, as birthday presents and such and sometimes if we were on a shopping trip to a bigger city, nowadays i buy them with my own money, thank god for steam sales. |

Usually I buy them with my own money or use gift cards. If I don't have enough and it's a small amount left (maybe 5-10 dollars) my parents might pay off the rest. By the way, I found Pokemon Ruby for 13 dollars online, should I buy it?

| I'm not getting a job until next summer so I can actually drive there myself so I can't really get paid. I just help around the house a lot and when I see a game I want I ask my parents, though I usually do pay at least a bit of it myself. When I do get a job I'll probably have to pay completely with my own money. :D |

@Video
Legally, I can get a job next year. Though my parents don't want me to get one until I get a full driver's license so I can drive myself there. I could probably walk or ride my bike there if I bothered to remember the way there. So until then I'm living off birthday money for my gaming needs

Also I don't have an allowance so yeah. Even a day of minimum wage work could get me something like 40-50 dollars.

I get free stuff on holidays and birthdays.
But yeah, I'll give my mom some money so she can add to my steam wallet and then I'll buy some things. |

@Mageofpower
No way me too!
She won't let me buy games off steam so I have to buy the Digital edition from the site or go out into the public to buy the disc

If I earn it, I'll get £2-4 a week depending on what I do if anything (if I've been busy with other things such as weekend camps or DofE with air cadets I won't get paid).
I'm pretty much boycotting games at the moment sadly however, as I'm saving every penny for the PC project at the end of the year... |
