| My studio is very laggy and I don't know why. Everything else works fine, the site, the games, internet, but my studio is lagging slower than a snail. Any suggestions? (It's not my computer. At least I don't think so.) |

For example, when I press "w", it doesn't register with the studio. If I try to resize a brick, it takes a few seconds. And if I release my mouse button too early, it resizes a completely different brick. WHAT'S GOIN' ON! D:

| Here's some more info. Using an Acer Aspire 5532 Laptop with Windows 7, AMD Athlon 64 processor TF-20 1.6 GHz, 160 GB HDD, and 3GB memory. And Internet Explorer. Anybody else have this problem with studio? Let me know ASAP. |

Not much. It started lagging at about an estimate of 20. Then I added a whole lot more. T_T

I have no idea,but try putting a anti-lag / anti-virus script,or deleting some parts/scripts. Also,is better group some parts,this help also.

| Ok. I'll try that, but it's my WHOLE studio that lags. I group parts, and I do all that, but it's not really helping. Note that this is in studio mode. Not play solo. |

you're CPU usage is likely very high. studio uses a lot of memory and CPU. It lags for me because of this reason. try to end any unnecessary processes that are using up a lot of resources.
hope this helped. |

| Bump. My CPU usage without Studio is around 2-6%. So, I don't really think so. :3 Thanks anyway. |

Let's check out your specs.
Firstly, Laptops aren't always that speedy. Part of your problem might be the lack of a good graphics card [which I don't think can be upgraded on laptops, at least not easily.]
Windows 7 is a really good enviroment for Roblox, so you're doing great there.
Now, what troubles me is your processor. Your processor is only 1.6 GHz, which is NOT fast at all, I'm pretty sure. Typically you'll see processors around 2.80 to 3.20 GHz. I'm running the Athlon II X3 right now, that goes at 3.20 GHz. Couldn't tell you how well Studio works, though, because I'm on Linux.
I presume that your HDD has 160 GB remaining. If so, that isn't much of a problem. Otherwise, check your disk usage, make sure there's at least 20 GB free. That's just because it gets slow around there. Next, you have your memory. That's so-so. 3 GB is only 1 GB short of your average-ish desktop, but combined with your other hardware, that might slow it down a little. Honestly, I think your best bet is getting a new computer or just upgrading as much as you can on that one. |
