What would you reccomend he do? He has little time because it's for a contest. Where should he be when it's time for this contest? I sent him a message with info. Please reply with anything that would help. |

I posted this on another thread, here it is again:
I learned through the wiki. If I was ever stumped on something, I asked my friend, Electricblaze. So you should get a friend who knows how to script, and only ask him/her a question if you're really stumped. Don't use any YouTube tutorials, for now, there aren't any good ones out. The best one is probably Pighead10's tutorials, but I looked at them and his admin commands are extremely inefficient, so I wouldn't recommend it. You should use the wiki because it has accurate information and it covers everything.

zars15? He's been getting more inactive overtime.
I also miss camoy and nightname. I rarely see nightname and camoy is not coming back. Darn I loved codelabs.
I spent a lot of my time looking at what others made, I found it especially useful when you had something that used a lot of clicked or touched events to work. Moving the parts around to check it still worked, changing a few properties and such eventually overtime I became more ambitious and started doing cut-paste coding as I had a basic idea what each line did, but not why it did it. Eventually I began to understand why it did it and became much more fluid in scripting and started writing my own.
It's funny actually. The first script I ever made by myself was an admin script. I had 299's there to guide me if I needed it though. I just kept at it until eventually it worked. |

"I missed you the most blocco. Marry me."
I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN.
MY RANDOM SENTENCE GENERATOR SAID IT.

I wonder if you can make a sentence generator using [automata][1]. That would be a really interesting endeavor. [Formal languages][2] and [formal grammars][3].... So enticing....
