| You'll be fine, it's a minor surgery, and very routine. Nothing will go wrong, it may hurt for a few days, but other than that, you'll be fine. |

I haven't either.
I just learned that everyone at my school has done it.
I don't know if I did it when I was like 3 or anything - doubt it. I wouldn't remember.
They might have done it like right away?
Anyway, I've noticed that in the past few days, when I move my head down as far as I can and to the left, I feel like a little pressure and then a little like movement by my Adam's apple.
I'm just hoping that I did something small to it and it heals up. It doesn't seem to do anything now but it did like 10 minutes. It started a couple of days ago and I remember feeling it when it happened. |

They don't remove tonsils at birth, it's only done if necessary.
And if it's hurting near your Adam's apple, then it's not your tonsils. |

| My tonsils have never been a bother to me, and being that I am past the age they most commonly remove it. I am probably never going to remove my tonsils. |

Yayayayayay.
Yeah - just hoping that I will never have to do it.
They say that if you look in your mouth, you'll see your uvula and then on the sides are bumps, which are tonsils. I looked and didn't see anything but... |

| Tonsils are a lot like your appendix, they were useful to early humans, but now they're practically worthless. They can cause problems, but unless they do, leaving them in is just fine. |

Oh God, I was hoping someone would post that.
