When I first came here I made a thread or two about how I was the only person who didn't like it.
Still don't blame myself even after seeing it.
The film wasn't as bad as I thought, but it's not as good as everyone was making it out to be. It didn't feel like there was any real story. Like it was empty.
A table without nails, or something to that degree. I don't know.
But I could think of a movie or two more deserving of its title as being one of the biggest movie releases ever. |

SO YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT,
WHEN YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT,
BUT NOW THAT YOU HAVE,
YOU LIKE IT A LITTLE MORE,
BUT YOU STILL DISLIKE IT SLIGHTLY.
I'm in the same boat. |

well I'm not going to go
"ITS CRAP GO KILL YOURSELVES"
But if you want me to give a negative response -
It failed to have any real development, Banner's hulk transformation was a bit pointless and nothing about him made sense. Tony Stark was an ass, Rogers seemed to be doing well with the new world and the recent loss of his dream girl.
Black Widow made 0 sense with her backstory, Hawkeye had no backstory, Loki was pale as hell.
The movie had no real opening, it was like it never began. It was like one giant scene the whole time.
See, there's your negative response. Go be happy. |

No, I agree, with you.
The film was great in that "Woah, look at that." sense, but with the recent direction of superhero films it felt a little out-of-place. |

The plot was weak and their were huge flaws with the story line but the characters were enjoyable, and I just sat back and laughed watching the movie.
I didn't think it was a master piece, but it was better than I expected. |

| You all need to take a seat and watch it until you like it, because this movie has a greater plot than you have lives. |

@pokeman
yes i'd assume superheroes gathering together to fight some alien people and save the world is greater than what goes on in my life |

| The action was good, the effects were good, but the story was so bland. |

@people saying it needs more action
What's the point of action if you don't care about the characters?
Why do you think the Rambo movies and first two Terminator films were so successful? |

because it was advertised to have a lot of action. And there are scenes with character interactions it is just boring and could of been left out.
also can you add in pulp fiction to that list? |
