though they aren't $60, this is one of the best headsets that you can get (for consoles at least, don't know many headsets for PC, though this does work for PC):

| I have X12s, but after around 6 months they just seem to die, same happened with my X11s. Now I just use it for the sound. |

I have a TB Px21 Multi-Platform and it's pretty good. Nice crisp sound, mic filters background noise to some extent, and it sits well on my head.
But my FAVORITE headset is the Razer Tiamat 7.1. My buddy has one and he let me borrow it for a week. I did NOT want to trade back. It's so comfortable in the long gaming sessions, it has 7.1 Dolby Surround (Crazy), it's got SUBWOOFERS in the speaker set! Explosions sound oh so beautiful and I can finally enjoy music with thick bass without having to listen to it in my car. Tiamat 7.1 master race. |

| @jhonny: A high DPI is definitely needed. I'd explain but you don't look like you care. |

| @irrelative: Agreed. (@jhonny: It makes it smoother and allows for a lower sensitivity [lower sensitivity=better for FPS on PC] In game to be smooth) |
