Choose the otter thing, it's the best. Smugleaf has the worst stats and a HORRID move pool.
For science, you monster. |

That's all the way in October though. And don't forget about SSB4. I rushed out and bought a 3DS extra early just because Megaman was announced as a playable character. |

Ill give you a simple idea to help you choose.
Tepig-Slow, strong Snivy-Fast, slightly strong Oshawott-Balanced
If you want the easy way out, oshawott |

I'm not asking because I'm a Pokémon noob, (just got a surfing Pikachu today) I'm asking because I'm indecisive.
I've used all three at one point in time, so there's not really any new experience to be had with them. That's why I'm asking for someone to choose for me, because I honestly don't care which one I use. |

| I don't EV train pokemon, I create and send EV trained pokemon to my DS via computer programs, because I don't want to waste hours of my life for competitive gameplay majorly based on predictions and luck. |

| I decided on Smugleaf, so this thread is now worthless. Thanks everyone for your input, it actually helped me decide. |

@Flexability OMG SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T CLASSIFY SNIVY IN THE WEAK CATEGORY! YUS!
I actually used Snivy. :) Just need the right moveset and you're good to go! Keep Leaf Tornado. Chance of lowering accuracy. :) And since I usually us Special moves, use Energy Ball. It may lower Sp Def.
Or if you want to take the easy and less strategic way out, get the ugly pig thingy. :>
