This IRSP is parallel to others.
Feudal Japan is often considered to be the highpoint of human culture. During this time warlords would band together clans of honor bound warriors known as samurai as organized militaries focused around skirmishing in the urban landscape of japan. This warfare was considered highly honorable and respectable, with the Shogun's manner of handling business not being challenged until late in the century with the rise of the ninja. You are a young Ronin, trained with the sword since age seven, it is today that you will serve your shogun. Your superiors are to be announced soon at his pagoda and it is recommended you get your thoughts straight before you go. What specialization will you impress the shogun with?
Specializations: Katana Dueling [Honorable] Archery [Honorable] Rocket Crafting [Disdained] Martial arts [Honorable] Strategy [Honorable] Dagger [Disdained] Ichi [Honorable] Thievery [Disdained] |

You practice your forms until you feel confident enough to present. You will prove to your ailing mother that you have prowess over man even without a blade. The Shogun observes the demonstration and is quite pleased with your upkeeping of the arts. He orders you to train with his men, as you are now one of them.
Honor increases greatly. |

The Shogun takes note of the time spent to bow, and personally oversees your training. The work is hard, but soon you can scale walls and jump vast heights.
Honor increases slightly. Martial Prowess increases greatly. |

| While training, I focus more on my own improvement than on interacting with my fellow warriors. I'm not here to mix; I'm here to become strong and prove my worth. |

| Training in seclusion earns you its benefits, and by the time you are stationed for the first time ever, you are quite lethal. Your relations with your inferiors suffers heavily however. You begin to note plans of mutiny within your ranks, but dismiss it as the shogun orders you to inspect the nearby farmlands. |

On our trip to the farm lands, I decide to test my troops' devotion, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. I delegate certain tasks to each of them - maintaining the mounts, setting up camp each night, and scouting ahead for signs of an ambush (these are, after all, dangerous times). If a soldier performs one task better than others, his assignment to it will be extended, and he will be tasked with training his peers to do his job with the same skill he does it wirh.
Certainly, this would impress the Shogun, I tell myself. |

You make effective sweeps of the farms. And the soldiers find your system fair and beneficial. The troops soon learn their jobs well and you begin making an impression on the shogun with your organization. The shogun notifies you to return to his pagoda for news.
Honor increases greatly. Morale increases slightly. Strategy increases greatly. |

| Meeting with the Shogun, he reveals that there is a large conspiracy centering around the kidnapping of noble children, and has reason to believe there are enemy samurai conducting it. |

Ooc;
I'm okay with it as long as he can pull it off.
Sorry my reply was a bit late, I have an unfortunate sliver of a life to attend to every now and then. |

| I give him a curt bow and follow him to the conference room, considering how I might aid in responding to this new threat. The participation in feudal skirmishes is something I have yet to take a direct part in, after all. |

| I deem my silent nods and bows adequate enough greetings to these two strangers. Names and titles could be exchanged once the situation has been dealt with. |
