Well, excuse me for a minute, I need to go hang myself - I mean go wash my hands.
On Topic: Which is superior: Lua or C#?

1. They both run the code I write. 2.Profit?
Unless you are really looking for response times, about 90% of programming in general in just logic, I would even say 95%. |

| Lua is a great scripting language, however you can probably do more with C# |

Obviously C# is more extensible.
Roblox should use JScript(Like Unity does), Java has to be compiled(Then interpretted, making it wierd as hell) so JScript would be better. |

| No? Learning any language, even if you don't have a use for it at the time, is still time spent learning flow control and how programming works, nevermind if you even have to use it later. Java is still a very popular language, even if it isn't use in Roblox. |

"Roblox should use JScript(Like Unity does)"
... why? Javascript sucks. Roblox already has Lua. Why would they EVER change that? |

@NVI,
It may be true that ROBLOX probably will not change their IDE (or Studio, if you prefer) to run JS,
but please do explain how JavaScript sux (I had to use an 'x' because my post kept getting blocked). |

| Because there is a lot of misinformation about it, and the language itself is a Frankenstein's monster because the original spec developers couldn't decide on one thing. Object.create does the same thing as new Object(). It's obnoxious. I can go on for days about how much JS sucks. |

| Why C#? I'd rather use C++ for quick program tests or OBJ-C for iOS than C#. But if I was making PC app's, I want to make it as diverse as possible for all OS's, so...Java :p |

| By the way, can C# be used for anything other than to make .net applications? |

@Black,
C# can be made to make GUI applications, executables, and more. |

| I believe C# can do about everything, except very core-ish stuff (hardware). |

| Wouldn't C++ be more powerful than C# since it has access to header files? |

| @Black: C++ is more powerful than C# indeed, but not necessarily because of that. |

| Is it because features that C++ has such as pointers and references that C# doesn't have? |

| There's no wait function in javascript. You have to use window.setTimeout(bla, 1000), so that's more functions to write. |

C# is scalable and can be used to make proper games.
Lua is just smashing a bunch of ugly badly written scripts together and hoping you never need to make major changes. |
