| Lua should include a 'continue' keyword, as seen in C++. |

Dammit, 5.2 sucks.
Why would you want it?
Lua 5.1 is best Lua. |

Go away with that stupid goto.
It ruins the flow of the code completely.
And I hate the new environment handling. |

Goto solves this problem.
@Tenal, It's been explain like a bajillion times since 5.2 was released why we'll never get it. Just like why we won't get LuaJIT.
It's too different and ROBLOX already has enough crap depending on 5.1.4 |

@Necro goto solves the problem but creates a few more. I'm pretty sure that scope goes out the window when you use goto.

| They changed function names for no reason, so that means old places would break. |

@awsumpwner, >goto solves the problem but creates a few more. I'm pretty sure that scope goes out the window when you use goto.
To a degree scope is ignored by the goto statement. However, goto can only jump to labels within the current function. So you can jump between functions. It's honestly not that large of a problem and in my opinion solves more problems than reasonable usage of it creates. |
