The Natives would've been introduced to the new culture, and since the vikings wouldn't have been able to quickly beat the natives and wipe them out with disease they would've advanced.
There would be nations of native Americans today if the vikings did. |

| They'd probably make a good civilisation where everyone was speaking some fusion Nordic with native languages. Until the English and French come. |

| I thought they all traded and Vinland was a colony where natives and Vikings lived together. I have some bad info. At least they are not like Andrew Jackson. |

They tried. More or less.
Keep in mind, Vikings weren't exactly the "colonizing" types. They were more of the "pillage and burn down villages for gold" variety.
When they arrived in North America (more specifically, present day Newfoundland, Canada) they colonized a region called l'Anse aux Meadows. The settlement abandoned after 10 years.
The main reason why they left was the native Beothuk population. Relations with the Beothuks were hostile, and the Vikings were terrified of them. Also, it didn't help that the Vikings thought they were one-legged monster people. |

One legged monster people? That's hilarious.
Any clue as to why they thought that? |

"Why is there a French name?"
Centuries after the Vikings left, the French came and called the area L'Anse aux Meadows. That name's still in use today. I don't know what the Vikings called it.

When the survivors of the l'Anse aux Meadows settlement returned to the nearest Viking settlement (Not sure whether it was in either Greenland or Iceland), they told stories of their encounters with the native Beothuks. Over time, the stories became somewhat intertwined with Norse mythology, and eventually the stories somehow changed so that the natives were one-legged monsters.
Some scholars have proposed that the Beothuks' leg attire at the time may have caused this misunderstanding (their pants were made somewhat like a robe, giving the appearance of having only one leg). |

lolcorridan they kicked your buts before the little ice age
If they colonized America then the government would probably fall fast and people would be scared of their governments, it'd be like the anarchy in Africa |

@Corridan
After 1007 AD (approximatively) the only settlements the Vikings had left in North America were in Greenland. |
