I've been seeing a small influx of online dating websites recently. The advertisements generally contain phrases such as "1 Girl Wants to Flirt" and "2 Hot Girls Want to Meet You". This is a children's website, lets keep it that way.
In addition, please remain mature on this thread. Comments such as "your advertisements are based off of your search history" are immature and unnecessary. |

| I do, in fact, find that immature. Not everything you said, but the fact that you called me a freak. Even you said it CAN be, not always. Other than that, thank you for the help. |

Took this out of a FAQ. This is exactly how those ads work...
"WHAT IS "INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING"? Just what it says: advertising that is delivered to you based on your likely interests. This type of advertising tries to make the ads you see more relevant based on the types of sites that you visit on the Web. With interest-based advertising, you receive ads and offers for products and services that are more likely to be useful to you. For example, a sporting goods manufacturer might work with an advertising network that collects and uses interest-based information to deliver ads to the browsers of users that have recently visited sports-related sites. Or an airline might direct ads to users that recently visited travel-themed Web sites. HOW IS INFORMATION ABOUT WEB BROWSING USED FOR THIS TYPE OF ADVERTISING? When you visit particular Web sites and see particular ads online, information is gathered and stored in your browser with the help of small text files called Web "cookies." By using this information, advertising services providers can attempt to predict your likely interests and to determine which ads may be most relevant to serve you next."

| They are based off of Google Search History. However I've been seeing the same type of ads (The "2 girls in your area think your attractive", as well as one that even says "2 girls think you're moderately ugly" or something along the lines of that, which made me laugh). However, I suppose it's my older brother looking that up. I'd suggest getting Google Chrome and putting in Ad Block, but you won't be able to see User ads. |

Para, it doesn't block ALL user ads. I saw one, and I had adblock. But since I didn't want to see it again, I just blocked it.
