(There will be a tl;dr version at the bottom)
In all fairness, SC and TSG have been practically the same. TSG might have had more activity, but it was generally the same people in the group as the HRs, MRs, and LRs.
It was an exciting opportunity for me to become a HR in Sleet Clan when it was in its full glory and later in The Steel Gladium. I was given abundant amounts of trust and loyalty and I didn't take the opportunity to make something of myself. I either had to go inactive for a vacation trip, or I had stomach pains, or I had a friend in real life come over. I haven't been hosting events, I haven't been showing up to events, and it is unfair for me to hold someone back due to my stubbornness to stay at my rank and do minimal work because on top of that.
I do feel I have a bond with the members in some way, maybe I'm wrong, but sometimes you have to let go and let a group or a person or anything else - take its own route. For me, this is one of the better times for me to leave. I'm very pleased to see that on Day 1 of Economized's command, the group is starting to churn again with activity and loyalty. But at the same time, I'm somewhat sad because I will not be part of this experience with you all.
My account is younger than some, but older to many, so I do have a point to where I can say that I'm plain tired of just moving around and having everything known about me diminished. Is this about my reputation? No. But it does have its place in parts of my reasoning. In all honesty, no one really wants to move from clan to clan. That's why everyone talks about loyalty. Maybe I'll come back and make a name for myself - or for the group itself - later, but for now, I can't.
I'll come back when my batteries are charged up again. If they recharge.
I'd like to give thanks to these people especially. Some are no longer in the group but they showed me some of the greatest compassion I've seen in years.
Pragmatic - We've had several fights and tantrums before I even became a SC HR(and then on to TSG HR), but I thank you nevertheless for the opportunity and for your trust in me. May we continue our friendship from hereon.
Rivalize - You're young, kiddo. At times you're an amazing HR for TSG, but then you turn against yourself and everything you stood for - for just a joke. I don't understand it. But, I'm not wanting to leave TSG on a bad note, so all I have to say is to keep strong and be mature. Those are some of the best qualities you can have as a HR.
Economized - You've been one of those old timers that just goes with the flow. I'm not sure how you do it, but I don't think I envy you that much, either. Congratulations on receiving ownership of TSG. I enjoyed your speech - in fact, I respect you more because of it - and what I took from that speech is that you will be doing everything in your power to see TSG through to greater heights.
Mrb581999 - You're a great fighter. No doubt about it. You're usually dominated, though. You let the higher ranks or even people of the same rank do things for you, and they take the spotlight. It's time to make a name for yourself.
Adam335 - Me and you were friends when I was on ForValor, and when I transferred accounts, we stayed friends - which I am thankful for. We've been through a lot while in SC. We'll stay in contact more.
Campy - You and me hated eachother, grew to be friends, hated eachother, and back to friends. You're a good HR, no doubt about it. Keep strong and you'll be famous for your skills and your dedication.
EpicNightHawkStrike - You've done a great job at putting the group before yourself. It's what a true HR is all about. I'm hoping you'll do something great for TSG. Something no one has ever seen.
tl;dr - I'm leaving TSG. I don't want to, but I feel it's required of me so I can let someone else "take the plate". Maybe I'll return. Maybe not.
For the Gladium! |
