Lots of glass and merged rooms. Bonus points for round rooms and distinctly asymmetrical designs.
Or by modern do you mean "in use", not the architecture?

If nothing pleases you with other peoples designs, be an architect and design your own! If Frank Lloyd Wright had ROBLOX, imagine what he would have done with his designs here! |

Reminds me of a neat method for finding inspiration or ideas for things, called "pareidolia"- find something that's totally meaningless, and look for strange stuff that looks like something else or holds some kind of meaning.
It isn't guaranteed to work, but sometimes it can smash right through a creative block harder than a blackbelt champion. |
