I like to make detailed models often. (I made some for a game, and recently published a Sword, Falchion, from Fire Emblem Awakening, that was hand made completely and consisted of 138 parts). I spent a very long time working on it, and it's not a free model because I wouldn't want to see people taking all my work and effort and show it off as their own. But, I would like to see some way to possibly sell off these models, a sort of "User-Generated Catalog" if you so please.
I'm considering possible "Restrictions" to it, rules that would be able to prevent copying and not have items priced for 999,999,999,999,999 Robux, because that's just annoying, and so on.
My ideas so far:
Pricing - If we could have a restriction, based on either a max-to-free limit on Tix or Robux, or have it based on the cheapest to most expensive items in the Roblox Catalog.
Copying - The best I can think of at the moment would be based around players honestly reporting items that are copied.
There are many more things that would need to be tackled before this sort of system could come into play, so I would love to get feedback from everyone that reads this. Even if you think your ideas aren't good enough or have already been stated on the forum, they would help a lot in making the right choice. |
