I'm basically trying to shave a few bucks off the cost without sacrificing performance, so if anyone can find a cheaper equivalent to some of these parts I'd appreciate it.
Couple notes: I'll be buying the graphics card from Newegg to get the four free games (I'm not really incredibly interested in any of them except Bioshock, but I figure I'd get Crysis 3 to prove the PC's technical superiority to my friends and it'd be nice to have the rest in my library)
I'm overcompensating a bit on the PSU's wattage because I want enough power for upgrades in the future (and I may want to try a Crossfire setup eventually).
And yes, I'm sticking with that case because it looks kewl (again, I'm going to enjoy touting my status as a member of the master race) and its size makes for good airflow. |

Remove CPU fan. Unless overclocking. You didn't say how much your budget is.
Also, windows 8 is better than 7. |

I most likely won't overclock for the foreseeable future, but I'd like a decent cooler from the start. I don't want a whole new build, so my "budget" is this build's current cost or less. And no, Windows 7 is infinitely superior. |

| Eh, some of those changes are a bit too drastic (although the FX-8350 is looking more attractive every day) and you didn't figure in the monitor and Wi-Fi adapter. |

| Windows 8 is terrible for gaming and terrible in general. Get Windows 7. |

| I'm sticking with Windows 7. The only "innovations" brought by 8 are the clunky UI. |

@RST- I could adjust to it, but I have no reason to have to.
So, what's the difference between this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/powercolor-video-card-ax78702gbd52dhppv2e And this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/powercolor-video-card-ax78702gbd52dhppv3e |
