You are an eldritch abomination. You find yourself witnessing the fiery birth of the universe. You've been here since the beginning of time itself, and your powers are innumerable. You watch the universe being created, being able to see everything from individual protons and neutrons being created, and being able to see the whole of this process- time and space doesn't affect you much, being a being of impossible power. It is here that you find yourself, at the beginning of the creation of the universe.
Do you decide to do anything with the birth you are witnessing, or do you leave it as it is? |

I leave it as it is, it seems to thrive by itself for now.

(im sorry void)
You see clumps of simple atoms begin to group closer together, as time goes on, and can feel the energy they are beginning to emanate. |

| With a blast of heat much unlike anything you'd seen since the initial creation, stars are created, and from these stars come beings similar to you, though far weaker, they hold a sort of sentience. |

Watch what they do. |

Soon enough, a single being begins to grow old and wise, sending messages through the void that take millions of years to reach the others, communicating somehow. This older being, growing massive, breaks down completely, blowing his mass out into the rest of the universe.
It takes many years for the stars brothers to notice his fall, but they mourn his death.
Soon, these star beings begin to fight one another, and you see stars being extinguished more and more, which eventually creates another type of being.
This one, instead of bringing warmth, is cold and empty, heartless, and swallows entire clumps of stars whole, bathing in its hatred for all matter. It has a sentience of sorts, too, and is much more powerful then the others. |

| It lashes out at you, grabbing some of your essence, and swallowing it. |

I lash out back, attempting to take what is rightfully mine or destroying this being.

Unfortunately, this is quite impossible.
You see, your power is infinite.
So by taking a portion of your power, he has grown infinitely in strength, though it is a "smaller" infinity then yours.
While you lash out at it, you can only take a portion of its essence, still leaving the being with an infinite amount of power. |

I decided to bind it with a very weak and pathetic essence, forming it using my own power.
I than used my power to try and send this copycat of sorts away, where it can't do more harm. |

| Creating a prison of sorts for it seems to work, and it gets sent to the outer edges of the universe, tortured, trapped, watching and waiting. |

(it wouldn't be a matter of acceleration as much as throwing your consciousness into the future)
Soon, more of the devourers begin springing up around the universe, and you notice a notable well of sentience coming from someplace near the edge of the universe- the sentience is much more intelligent, though less powerful then the stars, and are rather mixed in how they think. |

The closer you come to looking at them, the weaker you realism these actually are- they aren't at all like the powers of the stars, they are all rather small.
Soon, bringing your eye to the place where they all coalesce, you notice even smaller sentience- wildly intelligent beyond everything you've seen, besides the great devourer and yourself- you watch them clamor over their insignificant planet, fighting each other, having wars and making empires that fall in no time, all in a ridiculously small amount of time in comparison to the the other beings you've seen. |

I didn't really like the idea of these silly little creatures killing one another like that.
I graced a baby with a spark of my power, and because I had nothing better to do, subtly manipulated his life to make him strive for good. I hoped they would gather under this powerful figure's banner. |
