This may be harsh, but the so-called "patches" that the devteam is attempting to install are obviously not cutting it, and the rate of exploiters leaking their methods surpasses the rate of them being fixed. So why not use force? It isn't too hard really.
Detection: 1. New option in report menu: exploitation/hacking 2. Option 2: Auto-detect(without releasing info about it to players) Players can easily be detected, because their client leaves significant signs of scripts being inserted or DLL files being injected. This means that all obvious red flags will be sent to the mods to look over, and the less-obvious exploiters will hopefully be reported by players. If the moderators conclude that the player was using third-parties to mess with the game and make things difficult for other players, they will receive punishment.
Punishment: First Offense: Account gets disabled and warned of future punishments. Second Offense: 1-day IP-Ban(to prevent alts) Third Offense: 7-day IP-Ban and inability to create new accounts Fourth Offense: Permanent IP Ban. That skid is here solely to ruin it for others, don't let them back on...
All 4 offenses MAY be appealed, in case of moderator mistake, false reporting, etc.
WHY: 1. Sounds harsh? 4 strikes. For the same offense. First one is a fair warning, too. 2. Accident? Appeal system. Obviously won't banned if their suspicious program didn't execute lua or mess with a place. 3. No more patching. Instead of being faced by an angry mob of players demanding patches, ROBLOX Staff just needs some extra training for the moderation team. 4. Many other games have similar, or worse, penalties. Most MMOG's instantly permaban any sign of hacking, botting or other third-party use. Some companies even sue/threaten developers of hacks to prevent mass distribution(cough cough expro cough)
Reply here with support, or ideas to make this rule work. Simply saying "no" implies that you support hacking, so please try and be mature about this. |

Support But this isn't very sibling friendly My brother exploits (not ROBLOX anymore) Someone could have a brother/sister and they get an IP ban, therefore blocking the sibling But that's more of a fault of the IP bans if anything. |

| I kind of do, And I kind of don't, What if your friend was a Exploiter and you didn't know and you put his name on your account and you were Innocent? They should at least see if the player has been reported for hacking or exploiting, And if they get reported for exploiting then just ban them! How about that? |

Support, the IP-Ban would block the Internet off ROBLOX. If there is a family in a house - their brother and sister is playing ROBLOX together, later on if he started to hack ROBLOX, he would've get an IP-Ban. His sister computer would've got IP-Banned too, because the Internet IP code is under your router; therefore their computers is connected to the same router in the house, so - it would block ROBLOX on both computers.
Do you understand?
Thanks!

You can change your IP simply. So it wouldn't be a big difference if the exploiters knew how to do that. I also know how to get passed that, but I don't think I'll tell anyone how to. Seems exploiter-proof if the exploiters are kids, thinking there cool.

Support!
Also, I think that each time the exploiter/hacker is punished, an email should be sent to the parental address, even if most people use their own email. It would apply to multiple culprits and could have an extra effect on the child if their parents know about it. |

Support.
But there should be one strike: Instant IP deletion.
Hackers don't learn from their punishments. They just get on alts and do it some more. |
