Author's Note: "I hope this doesn't bore you from how long it is. I put out my best work, just like my combat..."

Locked it up, Maggots! Good luck tryin' to start any flames! If you want to comment, talk to me.

//|"Hit the Leech on the Head"|\\

//[Part 1] "Meet the Support"//
A high-pitched, energized shot rang out across the valley, followed by the life-ending screams of a man unknown. Somebody was just killed by a Y14 Pistol at about 54 Studs away. No where near SAW's best, but oh well. "There's a lot more where that came from, maggot!" the outgoing Slanyan called out to the corpse, who laid on a small elevation to the side of the valley. I'd go more into the scene of the victim, but this is Roblox. There are, like, CHILDREN, here...
Any who, as SAW -- one of the few characters who liked to stay hidden, and, thus, never gave out his name, where he came from, or his mental states -- stood on the wall, he unloaded more fire from his Y14. Generally HELPING people take out raiders, and, every now and then, claiming a kill for himself. Either way, SAW was getting hits, and hardly ever missing. As you are reading this, he JUST got his third confirmed hit of his run, today (enough to retrieve a SWD, but our Slanyan sharpshooter hardly ever touches one, seeing as how he knocks out raiders before they can get to him, most of the time).
Suddenly, a mid-pitched voice sounded out from a pair of speakers in our Trooper's helmet. "All right, all units need to report to the front line, we're about to engage our final push. This should send the raiders back in a box to their mommies, crying for mercy," the voice said. The Sergeant at the base, at the time, was behind the voice, and his name was SGT. Goodwell. He was a bit headstrong, but, none the less, knew what he was doing.
With this, the Slanyan we've been focusing on jumped right off the wall and landed perfectly on the ground, below, with no problems what-so-ever, as Slanyans are pretty athletic (even though poor SAW can never get the hang of the Obstacle Courses that he has to complete in most trainings, but typically aces rock climbs and head stacks). Then rapidly, ever so rapidly, he raced right down the valley towards the shore line, where a small, previously abandoned, WIJ Forward Operations Base, stood. When he passed a check-point arch, he was greeted by an Operative, which are like the Private First Classes of WIJ.
"It's about time you showed your face, over here. Where have you been," Operative Daniel interrogated.
"I was at the wall, helping you cats shoot up the bad guys," SAW replied, immediately followed by looking about the area for a good place to position himself against the hostiles lined against the wall.
"Well get to work," the Operative said. With this, the two got to cover, and, when in place, started shooting everything that stood on top of the walls of the FOB or came out from them.

//[Part 2] "New Stock" //
After a while, the raiders receded. Medical units were deployed to revive mortally wounded units. True, SAW got hit quite a few times, his shield protected him through most of the shots. When he got back, he turned in the weapons he brought to the field -- His B55 and L95.
"So, how many kills did you get, this time," The manager behind the armory -- named Corporal Davidson -- asked.
"Twenty-Three," SAW replied.
"You know, we got a couple of new weapons in stock. I think you'll like them," the Corporal said.
"Can I see them?"
"Sure, hold on a second, they're in the back."
With that, the blast door behind the two, that lead to the hallway, opened up. Sergeant Goodwell walked into the door way and said, "Time to hit the bunks. Shift's changing in 10." With that, the SGT. walked away and the door closed.
"Eh, I'll show you in the morning," CPL. Davidson said. The two departed and hit the bunks.
Over night, SAW sat awake for a while, trying to figure out what the new guns could be. A wARC-Updated G25? Maybe a public W18? What about some kind of a Machine Gun? Maybe some kind of a gun that has a continuous stream of energy? Eventually, the ideas got ridiculous, like a gun that shot Space Juice at people, or a bazooka that only burst out beams of light that didn't hurt anything, and even a gun that HEALED people instead of injuring them... then, again, that wasn't a bad idea... and the imagination kept flowing until the Trooper fell asleep.
To SAW, it only felt like a few seconds of darkness before a loud, high-pitched noise blurted out in the room, followed by pain. SAW fell right off the top bunk, again, surprised by the Sergeant's whistle. The general Start-Of-the-Day routine went on: SAW got dressed, got his coffee and breakfast... and then went to the Armory.
"Ah, Good Morning," greeted CPL. Davidson, "I bet you want to see those guns."
"Yup," SAW replied, rubbing his hands together, followed by planting them on the counter that separated the Trooper from the Corporal. After the Manager when into the back room, where they stored all the guns and energy, SAW couldn't help but here rattling, clanking, clashing, and other noises that occur when metal bump into each other. When CPL. Davidson emerged from the room, he held two slender guns that were almost as tall as SAW, himself, who measured about 6-foot-two, though it was quite unsure how tall he was, as the last time he ever measured himself was a good nine years ago.
The first gun that was placed on the counter was obvious in function: A sniper rifle. What was interesting, however, is that is lacked any noticeable energy ports to recharge the gun. "So, how do you recharge it," SAW asked. "You don't," Corporal Davidson replied. "You need to return it to have it RELOADED. I'll show you what it fires, later..."
After putting the sniper away, the Corporal placed the second weapon on the counter. This weapon wasn't so obvious. It looked like a cross between a flame thrower and an AT. "Do you have your shield on," asked Mr. Davidson. "Yes, w--" SAW started to ask, but before he could finish, he was engulfed in a purple, glowing hue. His powersuit started to malfunction and he noticed that his shield was rapidly diminishing. Connected to the hue was a purple stream which came out of the opening in the barrel of the weapon. SAW started grunting in confusion and surprise, at this point. When his shield was empty, the hue and stream dissipated, and a light lit up on the weapon.
"Allow me to introduce you to the LCH. It just left Alpha testing, and needs a Beta Tester. Are you willing to test it for me if I tell you the functions," the Corporal announced to SAW. The shield-deprived Trooper agreed. It was as if he started off a testing simulation, as immediately after, the Raid Alarm went off. People rushed about grabbing guns and shields, and Corporal Davidson, after the rush, handed SAW the gun. Grunting after receiving it, he commented, "It's a bit heavy..." After SAW got into the Recharge Chamber, Corporal Davidson said, "I'll keep an eye on you. Pay attention to your Communications, I'll give you advice on how to use it." With that, SAW walked out with the new gun, a Y14, and his W17.

//[Part 3] "Beta Test" //
The raiders had a head start, and were about 20 steads ahead of the Checkpoint Arch. SAW retained his position at the wall, sharpshooting raiders with his Y14... as usual...
Then, a deep voice rang out from his Communications. That would be Corporal Davidson, giving advice on how to take care of the LCH. "Alright, you see that guy with the powersuit," asked the CPL. "Equip the LCH and race right after him. Your shield should hold out long enough to last against that SKP, if you're fast enough." SAW obeyed the voice, and while he was running, the voice continued. "Get ready to pull that trigger. Keep the gun focused on your target." SAW obeyed, once more, and continued running. "Alright, pull the trigger right about... NOW!" With that, a low hum echoed across the valley, and the raider SAW just nabbed yelled out in fright. With this, SAW noticed that his shields were starting to RAISE. He was sapping the raider's energy and converting it to his own! The gun got lighter, and so did the rest of himself. Though fire was directed towards him, which slowed down the leeching process, the shield amount kept rising and rising until the gun STOPPED. SAW's shield count was, now, at 30, but rapidly diminishing from the fire being taken. SAW took out his guns. Previously, though, they were on about 29 and 32 battery. NOW, however, they're on 78 and 64 battery. This gun recharged everything! Even shields! Guns! Systems! If it ran on energy, it charged it up!
After dealing with a few waves, SAW was told to return to the Armory. When he arrived, he was handed the sniper he saw, earlier. "This is the M23 Sniper Rifle. It has a mid-range scope and fires Mass-Driver shells, which can penetrate shields. Use this to assassinate Juggernauts like the ones you sapped, earlier. I KNOW you won't have a problem with this. I've seen what you can do with snipers." With that, the Corporal handed our Trooper the gun, and instructions were given. Aim for the head, don't miss, and try to save it on shielded targets. This was, in a nutshell, an SUF that ran on shells, and had a limited clip-size of 16 Shells.
The rifle was amazing. It slaughtered targets, though the cool down was awfully long, lasting for 15 seconds. Despite that, enemies were picked off and deeds were done.

//[Part 4] "The Ultimate Raiding Vehicle" //
After a while, it got to dusk when SAW had used the combo to get a beautiful 56 Kills. He never changed his load out, and the raiders present, at the time, were very fresh. The hostiles from the Afternoon that SAW had faced had either all died or retreated.
When our Trooper had returned, he could have sworn he saw something in the water. Something metallic. Something... big... something... with GUNS on it! The most distinct feature was the drill in the front. My GOD, whatever it was, it had one heck of a grudge against the wall! Otherwise, it wouldn't have that drill. ATs directed fire towards it, but it was no use. As soon as the Amphibious beast reached shore, the drill started up. Loud and showing no signs of stopping, the Armored Beast slowly made its way towards the base. Rapidly, all fire from Allies and Corporation Soldiers alike were directed on the one-ton-tank. Apparently, it had a shield. A very STRONG shield. SAW knew what he had to do.
He raced to the Armory, explained the situation, and raced back out with an AT, the LCH, and a REX. He WOULD have brought a D01, but the locker for it had a very strict lock on it, which is a shame, as SAW liked to overkill whenever he had the chance... SAW rushed right after the tank, LCH in hands. After sapping so many raiders, he had enough shields to take on 3 AT blasts... which is what it looked like this thing could dish.
He lept right on top of the machine and activated the weapon. Rapidly, the machine's shields depleted, slowly the drill stopped, and even SLOWER, the treads on the beast slowed... down... to... a halt. After about 30 seconds of focusing the beam, the weapon stopped. The door didn't open, hinting that it was energy-operated, too. SAW chose to abuse this, and retrieved a F96. When he returned, he planted himself in the bunker, as the tank was just a handful of studs away from the hill that lead to the wall. The Trooper giggled quietly and briefly as he took note of this, followed by charging up the AT. "FIRE IN THE HOLE," SAW yelled in announcement, followed by a loud, thunderous explosion from the AT and the tank's rear hatch. As the operators came out, SAW lit them on fire with the F96.

It was a good day, after all.
