This will go by decade, and i guess you can comment about if you agree with me or not.
1890's-Music basically starts here. The decade has some interesting songs, but they are very hard to listen or pay attention to because they are very staticy.
1900's-You might think 1900's? *cough stupid cough* but really, if you listen to some music from this decade, you might be able to hum more songs then you think! This is what happened to me! Did you know that Yankee Doodle is from the 1900's?
1910's-I feel the same way about this as the 1900's just a little bit less, because 1900's is where music has a nice feel.
1920's-I feel like for some reason the static takes away the feel to the 20's
1930's-Some music from this decade inspired alot of the 40's and 50's
1940's-This is the decade where something really hits me and makes me realize, this is where I really start liking it! The 40's has static, but this static adds feel to the music. It has less then the decades before, but still enough to hear.
1950's-This decade has alot of great music and my favorite song from the 50's is Hound dog by the king of rock. (Elvis Presley)
1960's-This amazing decade holds lots of great artists- The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, you name it! Without this decade of rock, Basically everything after it would fall into flames!
1970's-Elton John becomes famous.
1980's-Blondie appears, and more importantly Queen comes into the spotlight!
1990's-Here is where music starts to fall apart. Lots of girly pop is realesed, and The Macorina is made!
2000's-A decade of rap. Snoop Dawg, Black Eyed Peas
2010's- Not much to say, (considering it is only 3 years in.) But One Direction!

You define the meme of Music Oblivious 8th Grader 1980's-Blondie appears, and more importantly Queen comes into the spotlight! There was much more then that. Rap was made, and it was positive and such things.
1990's-Here is where music starts to fall apart. Lots of girly pop is realesed, and The Macorina is made! Rap got big, Metallica got bigger.
2000's-A decade of rap. Snoop Dawg, Black Eyed Peas Punk Rock, Alternative, My Chemical Romance, Justin Timberlake.
2010's- Not much to say, (considering it is only 3 years in.) But One Direction! You might as well have stopped at 2000 |
