| It's the structure of the .app folder that makes it Mac only I believe. Wouldn't hurt to try. |

Nonono
run the executables out of ./Roblox.app/Contents/MacOS/RobloxPlayer and ./Roblox.app/Contents/MacOS/RobloxStudio? I'll try once I get to my Linux system... (or someone else can...) |

Is this "Advanced Scripting" related?
Seems to me like this belongs in Help & Support. |

@Silly No, it's not advanced scripting related. No, it does not belong in Help & Support. Yes, you obviously didn't read the OP. If you did, you would realize there truly isn't a better section for this. |

| I am on a Linux PC now, if anyone has a link to the Mac download, I would be happy to try it. |

Right, I tried it, but unfortunately the files are 'MacOS # file Roblox Roblox: Mach-O i386 executable' And so when I try and run it I get the following 'MacOS # ./Roblox bash: ./Roblox: cannot execute binary file MacOS # ' I do not believe it would be easy to run it on here, as it is compiled for the Mach Kernel. |

| Also, Mac uses the Mach Binary format instead of ELF, they have different graphical set ups, Mac uses FreeBSD libc instead of glibc (?). You would probably have more luck with running Windows ROBLOX on it with a certain drink named program, or wait for a project like Darling to develop. |

| I agree, it is a pity. Hopefully the Darling project will allow us to, or, hopefully, ROBLOX will release a Linux version! |

| Or maybe ROBLOX will release the source code (which is unlikely) |

| Quite unlikely. Hopefully, if they do release it, they will release it such that it is not dependant on a single distro. I personally run Arch, but I know some people who use ROBLOX and run openSUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc. |

"I know some people who use ROBLOX and run openSUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc." They're using Darling, Wine, or just a virtual os to do so?
I'll try Roblox on my debian this week-end with Wine (again). |

| Ah, sorry, I phrased that incorrectly. They run Windows separately, but they use those distros as their main operating systems, I was just meaning that as in they would be intereseted in a port. |

| I use Kali as my main distro*Insert evil laugh here* and have a secondary of Ubuntu which launches into Fluxbox to then launch Steam, if Roblox came out on Linux then I might do the same with it. |

Isn't Kali that Backtrack like one? Is there actually any reason to use it over a base install of Arch + Some security stuff? I am just interested, because I have heard quite a lot about it recently. |

Kali is Backtrack 6(The renamed it because it is Debian based, but it is made by the Backtrack guys) I use it because A. I like Debian B. It has some custom tools C. It has a pwnsome Grub boot screen. |

@MrChubbs
Which Desktop environment are you using? And aren't these "custom tools" for security tests? |

Ah yes, 'testing'. I do like to run 'tests' :P.
I personally use KDE 4.10, mainly because of some of the features it brings (having xkcd on the desktop is awesome) and the activities - when I am browsing the web, I do not want to have my programming stuff annoying me, and when I am programming, I want as few distractions as possible. |

| I'm using Linux, and it's a pain having to switch OSes to play with Roblox...Would be nice if it played well with WINE. |

| Last time I used KDE I was running it on OpenSuse, It was pretty unstable(Probably my fault) so I gave up on it. |
