Prepare now for problems ? It is worth getting a few basic precautions ready for a disaster. After all, recent historical events have shown us that floods, terror attacks or power outages can happen to any of us at any time. So a disaster kit is never a waste of time. Get yourself an emergency kit all ready for an impending disaster. A survival kit must contain supplies and vital tools that will help create a person with a basic shelter against the elements, help them keep warm, first aid in case of minor accidents, provide food and water and also a means of signalling anyone who maybe close by to rescue you. |

| The amount of gear in your kit will depend on how you plan to carry the kit. If you are going to keep it around your person then a small metal tobacco type tin will be just great. If you plan to keep it in you car, then an old tool box should be more than adequate and not take up too much space. |

| The best idea when planning a survival kit is to stop and think about life without your luxuries. If suddenly I had not food or shelter what would you need to ensure that ourselves and our families the right are able to survive a few days? The ideal plan is therefore to prepare well in advance for all possible survival situations. Being prepared is the key. If you are prepared for every possible situation then you have a very good chance of living through any life threatening circumstances. |
